The Wedding

Apparently this story happened in 2005 but I only heard about it today.

The Wedding

Her name is Katie Kirkpatrick, 21 yrs old. Next to her is her fiancé, Nick, 23.
This picture was taken prior to their wedding January 11th, 2005.
Katie has terminal cancer and spends hours in chemotherapy.
Here Nick awaits while she finishes one of the sessions...

Even in pain and dealing with her organs shutting down, with the help of morphine,
Katie took care of every single part of the wedding planning.
Her dress had to be adjusted several times due to Katie 's constant weight loss.

An expected guest was her oxygen tank. Katie had to use it during the ceremony and reception.
The other couple in this picture is Nick's parents, very emotional with the wedding and to see their
son marrying the girl he fell in love when he was an adolescent.

Katie , in a wheel chair listening to her husband and friends singing to her.

In the middle of the party, Katie had to rest for a bit and catch her breath.
The pain does not allow her to stand for long period of time.

Katie died 5 days after her wedding. To see a fragile woman dress as bride with a beautiful smile
makes you think... happiness is always there within reach, no matter how long it lasts.....
lets enjoy life and don't live a complicated life. Life is too short.

The Pencil

A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point he asked:
‘Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is it a story about me?’
His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:
I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I’m using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.’

Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn’t seem very special.
‘But it’s just like any other pencil I’ve ever seen!’

‘That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.’

‘First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’

‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpner. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he’s much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.

‘Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.’

‘Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.’

‘Finally, the pencil’s fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. in just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action’

Steve Beckow Sovereign Citizen of Planet Earth

I understand from the New York Times that I missed World UFO Day, July 2, 2010. I'm greatly disappointed. But not to worry. I have the remedy. Let's host another festive event.
By the right vested in me as a sovereign citizen of Planet Earth (the same right vested in you), I declare Sunday, August 1, 2010, to be “World Disclosure Day” (WD2).
I invite every citizen of Earth on that day to express him or herself in the best possible way to invite our galactic family, who currently are situated above this planet in spaceships of varying size and shape, in different times, spaces, and dimensions, to disclose their presence.
If the galactics do not respond on Sunday, August 1, by that same right vested in me (and you), I hereby declare the first Sunday of each month to be World Disclosure Day until the galactics are assured of their welcome and agree to reveal themselves to us.

I say this understanding the following:

(1) That the galactics around this planet are overwhelmingly of friendly and virtuous character and are here to assist us with the planetary transformation expected at the end of the present age or cycle in December 2012.

(2) That the galactics are servants of the same God that we are and led by higher councils of friendly and virtuous character whose reason for being here is to save this planet from the destruction towards which it was rapidly heading in an age of nuclear destruction and world wars.

(3) That the time has arrived for the Earth to assume its place among the family of civilizations, with their help and guidance, ending our isolation from the people of other planets and stars.
Lest one think that the occasion is only one of joy and celebration, let me add that it has a very sober and serious side to it and that is that, in my opinion, the galactics have in their possession the technology and will to stop the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and are only awaiting an invitation from us to do so.
In the absence of a long-overdue invitation from our governments, it is my belief that the galactics await the spontaneous outpouring of welcome from the people of Planet Earth to make their appearance and begin the work of restoring this world.
Yes, there have been negative star nations here that have had an unfortunate impact on Earth in periods of our history through subjugation and abductions. But it is my understanding that these extraterrestrials have been barred from the planet by space coalitions such as the Galactic Federation, who are Earth's guardians and mentors. These negative ET’s cannot come near the planet any more.
It is now time to end our ignorance of the existence of our space family, some of whom are our progenitors, some our future, and all our well- wishers.

I'll be publishing other articles on my websites and, if permitted, on OpEdNews elaborating on all aspects of disclosure. But for now, I simply wish to extend this invitation to you to express yourself in any way you deem best to welcome our galactic family and invite them to approach the Earth openly and reveal themselves.
I urge you to circulate this invitation far and wide, among friends, relatives, colleagues, and acquaintances. I also urge you to organize petitions, parades, peaceful marches, and any other festive events to convey to our galactic family our welcome.

This is your invitation – to a new era in world history and a new world.

With all love and light,
Steve Beckow

The United Nations & The Hip-Hop Nation Welcome Amma to New York

5 July,  New York City –2010 USA Yatra
When Amma came to New York, it was in the midst of the Fourth of July Independence Day holidays. The city was alive with celebration, and millions of dollars in fireworks were being set off over the Hudson River.

The next evening, Amma was officially welcomed to the city by a number of figures from both the United Nations and the New York City government.

Amir Dossal, the Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Partnerships, was first to welcome Amma. Mr. Dossal is the United Nation’s representative for public/private partnerships, where he guides the development of strategic alliances with corporations, foundations and philanthropists in achieving the UN’s Millennium Development Goals. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Dossal said, “Amma, it is such an honor and a privileged to be here. You are so special—not just for people here and people around the world, but also you are special for the United Nations. What you do to bring happiness to people—you are truly a saint.”

He also informed Amma that, on July 2nd, the U.N. had formed a new agency dedicated to promoting the rights and needs of women and girls around the world—The U.N. Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (U.N. Women). Mr. Dossal then acknowledged Amma’s long history of struggling to help women empower themselves. “Finally, it is happening,” he said. “We hope we will be able to involve you a lot more. What you do in making people understand that women actually are a real asset and must play an equal role—and maybe even a greater role—in society then they are allowed to play in business and the international world. So, thank you, Amma, for what you do. We are very grateful.”

New York City Councilwoman Julissa Ferreras, the chairperson of the City Council’s Women’s Issues Committee also welcomed Amma. She then presented Amma with a proclamation from the City Council, thanking Amma for coming to New York. Mrs. Ferreras said, “Amma’s mission—offering a loving touch to millions while building the social-economic infrastructures to help the poor and suffering lead productive lives—is an inspiration and a model to all of us seeking deeper engagement with our community.”

But the government was not the only entity to welcome Amma to the city. The hip-hop community also paid its respects to Amma. Russell Simmons, the co-founder of Def Jam Records and founder of the clothing company Phat Farm, came for Amma’s darshan on July 6th, and rapper and “Human Beat Box” Doug E. Fresh performed in the wee hours of July 7th. Speaking with Amrita TV after his darshan, Simmons said, “I’ve been a great fan of Amma for many, many years. I am practicing yogi. And it’s been my path—the yogic path. And every friend that I have that is part of this movement, the consciousness movement, through yoga, in America, has been to see Amma. So, I’m kind of the last one. Honestly. I’ve been inspired by her for many years. … Being around her, it’s like after the most beautiful yoga practice, after the most beautiful meditation; it’s during the most present moments. It is kind of a blissful experience. Being around her is like that. You feel connected. And from her, it just flows. She exudes this kind of consciousness that, most of the day, we just hope for, and every so often a second will come by and we will be awake. Being around her gives you that feeling of being awake. So it was very beautiful.”

The final night of Amma’s programs also found journalist Suketu Mehta coming for an embrace. Mehta, a resident of New York, is the author of the best-selling book about Mumbai, Maximum City: Bombay Lost & Found—a finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize. After his darshan, speaking with Amrita TV, he said, “It’s really a beautiful thing for someone to just give out these hugs all around the world. I mean, who knows, if Bin Laden and George Bush were hugged together, we might break some walls. … She has made me think about the ways in which the head and heart can work together; they don’t have to be so separate.”

Doctors call for end to NHS Witch-Bobbing

FUNDING for crone divination should be scrapped, the British Medical Council said last night.

Fewer cats will be interrogated, warn experts
Fifty NHS hospitals, all of them based in the North, currently offer treatments for dark art dabbling to the local community.

But wide-ranging government cuts have required a review of all procedures developed before 1465, or involving the consumption of any ingredient with the suffix 'bane'.

A BMA spokesman said: "There is no scientific proof that these methods work, although when Jan Moir accidentally fell into a witch-ducking pool at Manchester General Hospital, she did turn into a swarm of flies.

"They hovered over the sexual health clinic for half an hour, attacking all the outpatients, before heading off toward Canal Street, buzzing furiously."

The NHS spends over £80m a year interrogating cats and reading dove entrails to investigate reported cases of witchcraft.
Cures have become more difficult to effect since clean air regulations and mandatory recycling have outlawed live burial and human bonfires.

Dr Martin Bishop, a consultant Witchfinder in Carlisle, has defended the work of his department, despite having failed to conclusively prove a case of witchcraft since 1972, when a woman was admitted to his ward after locals discovered she could read.

He said: "What the critics choose to ignore are the many people who feel better after we've stuck pins into their grandmother for a bit to see if she'll bleed.

"There's no 'scientific evidence' to prove it works, but what does 'science' really mean anyway?"

Could Your Hair Dye Make You Sick?

Are you a brunette? Blonde? Redhead? Now, be honest: do you get the color of your lovely locks from a bottle? Well, if you do, then there are a few very important things you need to know.

Do You Dye Your Hair? Read This Before You Pick Up Another Bottle!

Hair dye manufacturers do not want you to know the hidden dangers behind coloring your hair with their products. Recently, links have been found between hair dye and primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC),1 liver disease. Some of the processed chemicals in popular dyes (which are also found in nail polish) have been shown to block bile ducts which interferes with the liver’s ability to process toxins properly. In 2003, a Chinese patient was diagnosed with “hair dye-induced hepatitis.”2 Similarly, in 2006, another patient was found to have “hair dye-induced liver injury.” This is real. And, really scary, to boot.
According to the study, “Women who used hair dye were 37 percent more likely to develop PBC than women who didn't use hair dye. Previous research has suggested a link between PBC and chemicals in cosmetics, particularly octynoic acid, which is found in hair dye and nail polish.”1

Toxic Chemicals in Hair Dye To Watch Out For:

  • Octynoic acid: A chemical cosmetic and food additive also found in nail polish 3
  • Formaldehyde: The very same  chemical used to preserve cadavers
  • Ammonia:  A colorless gas with a pungent odor

Dealing with Dye...What to Do if you feel you MUST Dye Your Hair

What if you really need to dye your hair?  Perhaps you are coloring your hair to cover up early gray, or even to express your individuality. There are some alternatives to mainstream chemical hair dyes, including natural dyes (like henna) that won’t harm you.

You may even find a salon that offers organic, chemical-free dyes.

Hair Dye Alternatives

Would you believe that people have been coloring their hair since as early as history has been recorded? There’s even mention of the ancient Egyptians and Greeks using hair dye to enhance their looks. Of course, those early hair dyes were made of much more natural ingredients, like plants. The good news is that you can still take advantage of these alternatives and keep your hair looking great, without the toxic risk. Look what these herbs and plants can do for your hair:
  • Rosemary and Sage can darken grey or enrich your brown hair
  • Lemon Juice or Chamomile Tea can brighten your blonde locks
  • A mixture of Carrot and Beet Juice can add red highlights to your hair

Always Create Balance in Your Body First

If it’s impossible for you to abstain from dying your hair, it’s even more important that you take proper steps to undo as much of the damage as possible.  When you create a hardy inner eco-system of healthy bacteria and beneficial yeasts in your intestines, your body will have a much better chance of combating poisons. You’ll also build the best possible foundation for increased energy, great skin, and shiny hair that won’t be so quick to turn gray.
  • Increase your intake of probiotics through fermented foods. Fermented foods contain an abundance of beneficial microflora that aid in digestion and assimilation of nutrients from your food. But very importantly these microflora help you detoxify better. You might say they help us survive the chemical soup surrounding us these days.
  • Eat and drink foods and herbs that assist your body with your natural ability to detoxify.  The herb, turmeric has recently been proven to assist in the production of bile. Bile is essential for proper liver detoxification. Foods from the cruciferous vegetable family (broccoli, cabbage, kale, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, cauliflower) are powerful detoxifiers. And of course, eating a serving of cultured vegetables with each meal really can’t be beat for detoxification of your intestines, and therefore, your entire body.
  • Practice Colon Therapy at home with home enemas or with a skilled colon therapist. Colon therapy does an amazing job of flushing out the extra toxic build up in your large and small intestines. This therapy also helps cleanse your lymph and your liver. Colon therapy is part of the Body Ecology System of Health and Healing and complement The Diet.
  • Practice Skin Brushing. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, your liver and skin are paired organs. That means you can help heal your liver by working on your skin. Dry brushing your skin, your largest organ of elimination, with a natural bristled brush, will help pull toxins out through your skin, and take stress off of your liver.

Your Thriving Inner Eco-System and Fabulous Hair

Having a healthy and happy immune system is key in not only feeling well, but also looking fabulous! After all, that is what dying your hair is all about, right? Your liver must filter every chemical and food that enters your body. So, it becomes overtaxed when you assault it with chemicals like hair dye. If your liver isn’t functioning at 100%, then your eyes, skin and hair will suffer too.

Dying your hair can be fun. Just remember that there are plenty of chemical-free alternatives to help keep your hair looking the way you like it, without causing harm to your body. If you begin following the Body Ecology Principles, your body will naturally release toxins that have accumulated from any chemicals you have used. On top of that you will build a healthy inner eco system that allows you to continue to resist damage from toxins and illness. You’ll feel younger, healthier, and be better prepared to enjoy vibrant life. You’ll also look better than ever!

London 7/7

The 7 July 2005 London bombings, also known as 7/7, were a series of coordinated suicide attackspublic transport system during the morning rush hour. The bombings were carried out by four Muslim men, three of British Pakistani and one of British Jamaican descent, who were motivated by Britain's involvement in the Iraq War.

At 08:50, three bombs exploded within fifty seconds of each other on three London Underground trains, a fourth exploding an hour later at 09:47 on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square. The explosions appear to have been caused by home-made organic peroxide-based devices, packed into rucksacks and detonated by the bombers themselves, all four of whom died. 52 other people were killed and around 700 were injured.

Two days aleter I stayed at a B&B just off Tavistock Square.  The bus was still there and a whole area was blocked off.  The Underground station at Russell Square was blocked off.  There were flowers everywhere and sitting at my favorite cafĂ© in the Square gardens having a cup of tea I was very aware of how quiet the whole place was.

Sending love to all the victim's relatives and friends.

Chemtrails

The Ministry of Defence turned large parts of the country into a giant laboratory to conduct a series of secret germ warfare tests on the public.

A government report just released provides for the first time a comprehensive official history of Britain's biological weapons trials between 1940 and 1979.

Many of these tests involved releasing potentially dangerous chemicals and micro-organisms over vast swaths of the population without the public being told.

While details of some secret trials have emerged in recent years, the 60-page report reveals new information about more than 100 covert experiments.

The report reveals that military personnel were briefed to tell any 'inquisitive inquirer' the trials were part of research projects into weather and air pollution.

The tests, carried out by government scientists at Porton Down, were designed to help the MoD assess Britain's vulnerability if the Russians were to have released clouds of deadly germs over the country.

In most cases, the trials did not use biological weapons but alternatives which scientists believed would mimic germ warfare and which the MoD claimed were harmless. But families in certain areas of the country who have children with birth defects are demanding a public inquiry.

One chapter of the report, 'The Fluorescent Particle Trials', reveals how between 1955 and 1963 planes flew from north-east England to the tip of Cornwall along the south and west coasts, dropping huge amounts of zinc cadmium sulphide on the population. The chemical drifted miles inland, its fluorescence allowing the spread to be monitored. In another trial using zinc cadmium sulphide, a generator was towed along a road near Frome in Somerset where it spewed the chemical for an hour.
While the Government has insisted the chemical is safe, cadmium is recognised as a cause of lung cancer and during the Second World War was considered by the Allies as a chemical weapon.
In another chapter, 'Large Area Coverage Trials', the MoD describes how between 1961 and 1968 more than a million people along the south coast of England, from Torquay to the New Forest, were exposed to bacteria including e.coli and bacillus globigii , which mimics anthrax. These releases came from a military ship, the Icewhale, anchored off the Dorset coast, which sprayed the micro-organisms in a five to 10-mile radius.

The report also reveals details of the DICE trials in south Dorset between 1971 and 1975. These involved US and UK military scientists spraying into the air massive quantities of serratia marcescens bacteria, with an anthrax simulant and phenol.

Similar bacteria were released in 'The Sabotage Trials' between 1952 and 1964. These were tests to determine the vulnerability of large government buildings and public transport to attack. In 1956 bacteria were released on the London Underground at lunchtime along the Northern Line between Colliers Wood and Tooting Broadway. The results show that the organism dispersed about 10 miles. Similar tests were conducted in tunnels running under government buildings in Whitehall.

Experiments conducted between 1964 and 1973 involved attaching germs to the threads of spiders' webs in boxes to test how the germs would survive in different environments. These tests were carried out in a dozen locations across the country, including London's West End, Southampton and Swindon. The report also gives details of more than a dozen smaller field trials between 1968 and 1977.

In recent years, the MoD has commissioned two scientists to review the safety of these tests. Both reported that there was no risk to public health, although one suggested the elderly or people suffering from breathing illnesses may have been seriously harmed if they inhaled sufficient quantities of micro-organisms.

However, some families in areas which bore the brunt of the secret tests are convinced the experiments have led to their children suffering birth defects, physical handicaps and learning difficulties.

David Orman, an army officer from Bournemouth, is demanding a public inquiry. His wife, Janette, was born in East Lulworth in Dorset, close to where many of the trials took place. She had a miscarriage, then gave birth to a son with cerebral palsy. Janette's three sisters, also born in the village while the tests were being carried out, have also given birth to children with unexplained problems, as have a number of their neighbours.

The local health authority has denied there is a cluster, but Orman believes otherwise. He said: 'I am convinced something terrible has happened. The village was a close-knit community and to have so many birth defects over such a short space of time has to be more than coincidence.'
Successive governments have tried to keep details of the germ warfare tests secret. While reports of a number of the trials have emerged over the years through the Public Records Office, this latest MoD document - which was released to Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker - gives the fullest official version of the biological warfare trials yet.

Baker said: 'I welcome the fact that the Government has finally released this information, but question why it has taken so long. It is unacceptable that the public were treated as guinea pigs without their knowledge, and I want to be sure that the Ministry of Defence's claims that these chemicals and bacteria used were safe is true.'

The MoD report traces the history of the UK's research into germ warfare since the Second World War when Porton Down produced five million cattle cakes filled with deadly anthrax spores which would have been dropped in Germany to kill their livestock. It also gives details of the infamous anthrax experiments on Gruinard on the Scottish coast which left the island so contaminated it could not be inhabited until the late 1980s.

The report also confirms the use of anthrax and other deadly germs on tests aboard ships in the Caribbean and off the Scottish coast during the 1950s. The document states: 'Tacit approval for simulant trials where the public might be exposed was strongly influenced by defence security considerations aimed obviously at restricting public knowledge. An important corollary to this was the need to avoid public alarm and disquiet about the vulnerability of the civil population to BW [biological warfare] attack.'

Sue Ellison, spokeswoman for Porton Down, said: 'Independent reports by eminent scientists have shown there was no danger to public health from these releases which were carried out to protect the public.

'The results from these trials_ will save lives, should the country or our forces face an attack by chemical and biological weapons.'
Asked whether such tests are still being carried out, she said: 'It is not our policy to discuss ongoing research.'

Soulmate

Lately I have been thinking rather a lot about my soulmate.  If 2012 is going to be only a minor bit as dramatic as it sounds I would love to meet up with my Soulmate before it is too late.

But what is a Soulmate you wonder?

Paolo Coelho in his book Brida puts it this way:

'But how will I know who my Soulmate is?'  Brida felt that this was one of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life.
Wicca laughed.  She had already asked herself that question and with the same eager anxiety as the young woman opposite her.  You could tell your Soulmate by the light in their eyes, and since time began, that has been how people have recognised their true love.  The Tradition of the Moon used a different process: a kind of vision that showed a point of light above the left shoulder of your Soulmat.  But she wouldn't tell the girl that just yet; she might one day learn to see that point of light, or she might not.  She would get her answer soon enough.
'By taking risks,' she said to Brida.  'By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for Love.  As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end.'

Do you agree?

And is it possible to have more than one Soulmate?
